Paddle Heaven is a recreational guide that reviews kayaking launch sites for
day touring, flatwater & sea kayaking
, canoeing and other human powered craft (e.g.
stand-up paddling). As any experienced kayaker knows, finding publicly
available kayak launch sites isn't easy and often involves a lot of time and
research. Hopefully this site will help you to locate some wonderful places
in the Pacific Northwest and possibly other regions over time.
How Paddle Heaven works.
- Search by country, state, city
- Browse by geographical locations or category.
- Check out kayak put-ins via the regions to the right.
- Some of the maps here have information and links to info. Look for
the anchor Icon.
- Incite you to paddle for the MBS, Mind, Body and Spirit.
There are many sites online dedicated to describing paddling routes and other
related topics, but often times, they don't provide important information
like directions, maps, parking, fees, camping, access to food, cellular
service availability, and other information that is needed in advance of day
touring or longer sea kayak adventures. As all good kayakers know, knowledge
about the launch sites and surrounding areas is important information to
know in advance to plan a successful kayak trip. Hopefully, this site will
provide you with useful information to enrich your kayaking experiences.
