Contents Descriptions This lake is lined with homes with not much scenic value. The Webberg County Park is a breath of fresh air. Both the launch and Wenberg are the only real public access points and places where a kayaker or people with a canoe can get out of the water and stretch legs. Sometimes like on a recent trip it was important to get out and remove the fleece top under the dry suit. Try that while paddling. :) Wenberg also offers a pull out in case of high winds or other situations. Wenberg has some restrooms not too far from the beach area. Location Lake Goodwin is located in the 7 Lakes Region of Snohomish. This lake is the largest of the lakes in this region. See the map for location and directions from Google to the lake from where you will be starting your trek to one of the put-ins. Conditions This is a large enough lake where the wind can come up and create some interesting white caps. Weather Generally the wind blows from the south here. Warnings Wind, cold water kills, speed boats. Noise from the boaters. Paddle route Critters Not many critters to report here. Few birds and no other wildlife to speak of. Fishing seems to be popular here.
Contents Provisions Gas and food etc are available at a store west of the park on the north end of the lake on the main highway.
Contents Accommodations Wenberg County Park has camping. Kayak Point There are several RV parks in the area and some on Lake Goodwin. Small cabins are located in the RV park behind the grocery store on the highway at the north end put-in. The store is just west of the county park.
